Alicia Schumacher and Beth Jensen bring a powerful blend of expertise in marketing, leadership, journalism, and storytelling. Alicia draws on nearly two decades of marketing, most recently leading corporate digital teams before founding Bold Identity Studio and Bold Minds, spaces where women rise with clarity, confidence, and community. A coach and speaker with a passion for storytelling, she helps women transform lived experiences into bold personal brands that open doors. With more than 30 years in journalism and communications, Beth has elevated countless voices as the leader of South Dakota’s largest newsroom. She has a gift for uncovering the heart of a message, showing women how a well-told story can shape perception, inspire action, and spark opportunity. Together, they help women step into the spotlight with authenticity and impact.
Bold Start met me in the middle of the swirls - with ideas, dreams, and uncertainty - and helped me shape it all into something clear, grounded, and ready to grow. Alicia and Beth created a space that was both deeply intentional and wildly empowering. Their ability to listen, challenge, and reflect with such clarity was a gift. And to be surrounded by a group of bold, powerful women? Unforgettable.

What exactly is the Bold Start?
It’s a 2-hour, high-impact brand and visibility session designed to help you get unstuck, clarify your message, and walk away with tangible tools to show up online - without the overwhelm. It’s our signature mini day, not an ongoing program.
Do I need to have a business to join?
Not at all. Whether you’re launching something new, navigating a pivot, or simply want to be more visible in your field - you’re in the right place.
What if I’m not good at social media?
This isn’t about becoming an influencer - it’s about showing up with intention. We’ll give you tools that work for your style, personality, and goals.
Is this a 1:1 session?
Nope! The Bold Start is a standalone, 2-hour experience, with 10-20 other women. If you want to go deeper, Bold Identity Studio offers private VIP sessions and the community based Leading Wise: The Bold Table. We'd love to tell you more about either of those options. But this session is all you need to get started!
What if I’m not “ready” yet?
